Angela Dalecki - freelance writer and editor
About Me

I always knew I was meant to be a writer. As a kid, I was always the strange child who wrote stories about her stuffed animals and showed them to anyone who would read them. As I grew older, I became fascinated with the English language. I would always be the go-to person to settle an argument about the difference between "less" and "fewer" or "further" and "farther."

However, it took me a while to realize that I must write. Frightened by the traditional image of the "starving writer," I tried my hand at more "lucrative" jobs, including a cell phone salesperson and a banker. I soon discovered that I simply wasn't happy doing anything other than writing or editing. Those other jobs did give me valuable experience in the business world, however, which has come in handy with my business writing.

My TV Guide career started in 2003. In the past five years, I have:
  • copy-edited an insane amount of television listings
  • researched and written profiles of TV celebrities
  • written parental guidelines for classic TV shows.

As a freelancer, I've written articles about psychology, food, wine, parenting, weddings, travel, pets, TV, movies, music, theatre, careers and countless other subjects. I love writing about different subjects---for me, the research is half the fun.
